The primary fabric is TENCEL™ — a silky, eco-friendly material made from wood fibers. The absorbent layers of the wedge are made of bamboo, which is naturally antibacterial, breathable and highly absorbent. The outer waterproof layer is a breathable TPU fabric that keeps blood in and protects the garment from leakage.

When we developed the panties in collaboration with young girls, many of them actually wanted a black inside. It was a wish we understood — but deliberately chose not to follow, because we do not want to make products that hide the body’s signals from the young girl who wears them. On the other hand, we chose a light peach color on the inside rather than completely white — a small meeting halfway that hides spots a little more without losing track of your period. We believe that knowledge is better than uncertainty, and that menstruation is something you have to get to know, not something you have to hide. At the same time, the bright inside makes it easy for your daughter to know when it’s time to change — when the blood hits the elastic in the gusset, it’s a sign that it’s time for a change to avoid leakage.

What age and size are Teen Period Underwear Night suitable for?
Although they are called Teen Period Underwear, they are designed for young girls aged 9–16 — meaning children, tweens and teenagers alike. They are available in sizes 134–140, 146–152, 158–164 and 170–176. When should my daughter change her period underwear?
When the blood reaches the elastic in the gusset, it’s a sign that it’s time to change to avoid leaking. The light-coloured interior of Elskbar period underwear makes this easy to see. It will typically be about 6-8 hours, max 12 hours.
