The primary fabric is TENCEL™ — a silky soft, breathable and environmentally friendly material made from wood fibres that keeps your daughter comfortable all day. The absorbent layers in the gusset are made from bamboo, which is naturally antibacterial and highly absorbent. The outer waterproof layer is a breathable TPU fabric that keeps blood in and protects clothing from leaks.

When we developed the underwear in collaboration with young girls, many of them actually wanted a black interior. It was a wish we understood — but consciously chose not to follow, because we don’t want to make products that hide the body’s signals from the young girl wearing them. Instead, we chose a peach colour on the inside rather than pure white — a small middle ground that hides stains slightly more, without losing an overview of the period.
We believe that knowledge is better than uncertainty, and that periods are something to be learned and understood, not something to be hidden. At the same time, the light interior makes it easy for your daughter to know when it’s time to change — when the blood reaches the elastic in the gusset, it’s a sign that it’s time to change to avoid leaking.

What age and size does the Teen Period Underwear Day fit?
Although they are called Teen Period Underwear, they are designed for young girls aged 9–16 — meaning children, tweens and teenagers alike. They are available in sizes 134–140, 146–152, 158–164 and 170–176.
